Illinois Living Room Programs

The Living Room Programs (LRP) provides a safe, inviting, home-like atmosphere where individuals can calmly process the crisis event, as well as learn and apply wellness strategies which may prevent future crisis events. The LRP is staffed by Recover Support Specialists, individuals with their own lived experience in recovery from mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use and is based on a philosophy that crises are an opportunity for learning.
