FAQ
-
Therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client aimed at improving emotional well-being, coping skills, and overall mental health. Therapy can help individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions by providing a safe space for exploration, insight, and growth.
-
Therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking support, guidance, or a deeper understanding of themselves. If you're experiencing emotional distress, struggling with relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy may be a helpful resource. Our therapists are here to support you and can help you determine if therapy is the right fit for your needs.
-
During therapy sessions, you can expect to engage in open and honest conversations with your therapist in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Your therapist will listen attentively, ask questions to gain insight into your experiences, and provide guidance, support, and practical strategies to help you address your concerns and achieve your goals.
-
The duration of therapy varies depending on your unique needs, goals, and progress. Some clients may find relief and make significant progress in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy to address deeper issues or work towards more complex goals. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to determine the appropriate length and frequency of therapy sessions.
-
Yes, therapy sessions are confidential, and your privacy is a top priority. Your therapist is legally and ethically bound to maintain confidentiality, which means that information shared during sessions will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit consent, except in certain circumstances where there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g., risk of harm to self or others).
-
The cost of therapy varies depending on factors such as the therapist's qualifications and session duration. We offer transparent pricing for our therapy services. The cost of therapy will depend on whether or not you are utilizing insurance benefits and we are in network with your specific plan. The cost of therapy sessions that your insurance plan agrees to is between the client and their insurance provider. Love is Key will provide you a benefits summary after you provide us with your insurance information and demographics to determine network coverage.

It's essential to feel comfortable and supported in therapy, so if you're not sure about your therapist or feel that therapy isn't meeting your needs, it's okay to discuss your concerns openly with your therapist. Your therapist will listen to your feedback, address any issues or challenges you're experiencing, and work collaboratively with you to make adjustments as needed. If you decide that you would like to explore other therapy options, your therapist can provide referrals or resources to help you find a better fit.
